An ergonomic notebook stand...

Now that I am back working on a notebook, I realized that I'm spending a good part of my day hunched over a laptop sitting on my desk -- very un-ergonamic. In the computer lab of the institute that I'm affiliated with, they have a notebook stand for you to use when you bring your laptop in to work -- the lab has the fancy 4-port USB model to which they have attached a keyboard and mouse, but for most the regular model pictured above would do... I totally think I want it.

I want good posture....

So here's a little device that recognizes when you're slouching and buzzes to remind you NOT TO SLOUCH! It reminds me of the audio tape my parents threatened to send with me off to college. It would basically be a silent tape that I would play while I was studying and at random intervals it would have my parents yell out "hunchback!" at me....

A tiny tiny projector!

Here's a micro projector that you can slip into your pocket. It's small, portable, and runs for two hours on batteries. When you take it out, it can throw up to a 60" image from 8 feet away! You can project movies and shows from your iphone/ipod (or a slideshow from your laptop/ipod). It's awesome! They are trying to integrate the technology into cell phones--the possibilities are endless! I'm wracking my brains to think of people I know in Japan.... as Engadget is reporting that it's being released there in less than a month!
